Guide MICHELIN Deutschland 2026: recommended; Falstaff Restaurant- & Gasthausguide Deutschland 2026: 89 points

On Eppendorfer Landstraße the chef Cornelia Poletto, known from television, runs her restaurant, with Felix Neumann leading the kitchen. The business also includes the cookery school ‘Cucina’, where Poletto gives courses for 12 to 18 participants, and ‘Paola’s’, a bar with delicatessen named after her daughter and opened in May 2022. The dining room is modern and elegant, and in summer food is also served outside.

The cooking is Italian and Mediterranean, with accents that, according to Falstaff, range from Shanghai to the north. The autumn 2026 menu features, for example, vitello tonnato made with Holstein veal, tagliatelle alla chitarra, ribbon pasta cut on a frame of strings, with duck ragù and radicchio, or a poussin ‘alla Poletto’. The antipasti come to the table ‘alla famiglia’ for sharing, three starters costing €56. The tasting menu is €140, the wine pairing €79.

From Tuesday to Saturday there is also cooking at lunchtime, with a separate lunch menu. In 2026 Falstaff counts the restaurant, with 89 points, among the ten highest-rated Italian restaurants in Germany and particularly highlights the wines; the list includes a Riesling made under the name ‘Cornelia Poletto & Diel’ at Schlossgut Diel on the Nahe. If you want to cook yourself, book a course at the Cucina.

Good to know: Open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, closed on Sunday and Monday. Tasting menu €140, wine pairing €79.
