Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia
A fixture of Milan’s dining scene since 1962: produce-led cooking from all over Italy, with menus that trace the regions.

Milan’s only three-star restaurant, in the Museum of Cultures: creative cooking with layered, balanced flavours.
Guide MICHELIN Italia 2026: three stars
Enrico Bartolini opened his restaurant in spring 2016 on the third floor of the Mudec, the Museum of Cultures in the Tortona district. With the Guide MICHELIN 2020 it received its third star, the first restaurant in Milan to do so since the era of Gualtiero Marchesi. Bartolini now runs a whole group of restaurants; at the Mudec, resident chef Davide Boglioli carries his signature style into daily service and interprets it with the seasons.
The cooking relies on bold, layered flavours that aim for balance rather than effect. There are two tasting menus, ‘Best Of’ and ‘Mudec Experience’, and dishes can also be ordered à la carte. Among Bartolini’s best-known creations is the risotto with beetroot and gorgonzola sauce. The dining room is contemporary and calm in style, suited to a business dinner as much as to a special evening.
Good to know: Open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, closed on Sunday and Monday. Book online via the website, by email or by phone.
